Firecracker 5K (June 29th)
Join the YMCA's patriotic race that takes place every year on July 4th at the Clay County Y. Participants run/walk 3.1 miles in support of the Y and receive a free t-shirt! The cost to register is $20 for early registration, and $25 for late registration. Stay tuned for dates and more information on this year’s race.
Turkey Trot 5K (Thanksgiving morning)
Over 200 community members came out to support the YMCA and run for Turkey this past year at our annual Turkey Trot 5k! This race takes place on Thanksgiving morning right at the YMCA in Brazil. Early registration is $20, ($25 for late registration) and includes a free t-shirt!

The Red Gala
As summer winds down, community members mark their calendars for an evening of gourmet dining by the Butler’s Pantry, live dance performances by The Dance Studio, an elaborate live and silent auction, and the opportunity to dress in their Gala best with friends.

Healthy Kids Day at the YMCAs of the Wabash Valley
Looking for ways to awaken a child’s imagination and inspire healthy choices? Every spring the YMCA hosts its single largest national event dedicated to youth: Healthy Kids Day! We will feature games, physical activity, fresh ideas for caretakers, healthy snacks and more. Stay tuned for dates and additional information.
Every October the YMCA hosts the annual fall festival right here at the YMCA! During the event children can play games at the Y, do seasonal arts and crafts, trick or treat, and more all for free. Every Christmas the YMCA welcomes in Santa Claus for a special reading of traditional biblical Christmas story. This event, free to the community, provides youth the chance to meet Santa Claus, take a photo, enjoy Christmas treats and crafts in the Y main gym.
