Every Monday – Saturday morning, and Monday – Thursday evenings, members have the opportunity to work out while their little ones are in the safe care of our experienced child watch staff. Child watch is offered to ages 6 weeks – 6 years for free to family memberships.

Tween Room for children 6-12 years of age.  Monday – Thursday 5-8 pm

Saturday – 8:00 am – Noon

Children in kindergarten through sixth grade in need of day care while school is out are welcome to come to the Y for the day!

Reminders
• During the winter months please be sure to send children in a coat for outdoor play
• Breakfast will be provided, children will need to bring a sack lunch
• Children will need to wear tennis/athletic shoes and bring a change of clothes
• Please print child’s name on personal items
• All electronic devices must be left at home
• Financial assistance is available to qualifying families
• Adults must be listed as a pickup person and will be required to show a photo ID

During Summer Day Camp, the YMCA offers youth, ages 4-14 (child MUST be 4 by January 1st, 2024), fun and unique experiences with an opportunity to explore the outdoors, meet new friends, discover new interests, and create memories that last a lifetime.  Registration is according to the grade the child will be going into in the fall.

Camp Hours:

9:00 am – 4:00 pm

Extended Camp hours:

6:30 am – 9:00 am/4:00 pm – 6:00 pm

 

 

Dates: Camp will begin May 28, 2024 through August 9th, 2024

  • Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Children may bring a sack lunch if they choose to.  Do not send meals that need to be heated up. No high-sugar drinks or sodas should be sent with campers.  If a child has any food restrictions due to allergies or religious beliefs a request MUST be sent to cevans@ymcaswv.org.
  • Children will need to wear tennis/athletic shoes and outdoor clothing
  • Please print the child’s name on camp items
  • All electronic devices must be left at home
  • Bring an extra set of clothing
  • Adults must be listed as a pickup person and will be required to show a photo ID
  • Toys from home are NOT permitted at camp
